Wind Engineering and Industrial Aerodynamics mainly  studies the interaction between wind and the human as well as the structures in the atmospheric boundary

layer, formed by the interpenetration of many subjects, such as aerodynamics, meteorology, structure dynamics, architectural engineering, bridge engineering,

vehicle engineering, energy engineering and environmental engineering.

In order to meet the requirements of the national economy and social development, the wind engineering and industrial aerodynamics research has been rapid developed using the testing facilities and numerical methods, which are mainly used for the aviation and space flight. A lot of achievements have been made in

 the wind energy utility, bridges and structures and the vehicles.
